Mike Ready

Mike Ready is the founder and director of Compass Performance Management Ltd. His company provides online systems, consultancy and coaching designed to improve the performance of individuals and organisations. Mike worked in both the public and private sectors in training and commercial management for thirteen years before becoming the managing director of a leading management consultancy for a further ten years. He established Compass Performance Management in 1999 with the launch of the very successful online Compass360 feedback system. Since then the company has grown from strength to strength further improving the 360 system and introducing new online products and services.

Mike's professional qualifications include a post graduate Diploma in Management Studies, a Certificate in Counselling, and a Certificate in Coaching. He is also qualified to BPS Level A&B in assessment and psychometric testing and Step 2 in MBTI profiling. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and a Member of the Association of Coaching.

Simon Whalley

Simon Whalley has worked in the field of personal and organisational development since 1990. His qualifications include an MBA, a Certificate in Coaching and a Training Diploma. Simon has worked in the private sector in the fields of Management Development, Coaching and HR Consultancy for the last six years. Previously Simon worked for 10 years in the public and charitable sectors as a Manager and Development Trainer. These experiences give him an excellent understanding of the issues faced in the development of people. Simon is currently undertaking research into evoking excellence.

Alison Bremner

Alison Bremner is the managing director of GAIN, a company she founded in 1998 to optimise the growth and development of individuals, businesses, and teams.

Described as having "listening skills that score 12/10", and "truly exceptional insight into behaviours", she works with a diverse range of corporate and self-sponsored clients. A gifted and versatile coach, facilitator and trainer, Alison brings significant positive impacts to the achievements of others.

Alison is passionate about "helping people help themselves"; about supporting people in discovering opportunities for change, and mapping their way forward to where they want to be. Her coaching is broad-based and integrative in its approach. Drawing new ideas from the client, she believes that we have the capacity to find answers from within ourselves, and that powerful questioning is the key to unlocking true potential. This process is very empowering.

With more than 25 years business experience (including 10 years in management in the Oil & Gas industry), and a further 8 years leading GAIN, Alison is a Certified Coach with further qualifications in Stress Management, Psychological Coaching, Myers Briggs, and Insights personality indicators.

She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD), a Member of the Association for Coaching (MAC), and is also Team Co-ordinator for the Association for Coaching Aberdeen branch.
